A not-for-profit Community Interest Company

Safe homes, supportive communities, brighter futures

Marsi Housing CIC provides supported accommodation in Nottingham for people living with mental health challenges, and for refugees and people seeking asylum who need a stable place to call home.

As a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, we reinvest our surpluses in our homes and the people who live in them.

Who we support

We house two groups of people who need more than a roof: a safe home, and someone on their side while they get settled.

People living with mental health challenges

Supported housing for adults who are ready to live more independently, with regular support to stay well, manage a tenancy and build a routine that works for them.

Refugees and people seeking asylum

Stable, welcoming accommodation and practical help to settle in, from registering with a GP and finding English classes to getting into work and a long-term home.

Right accommodation. Right support. Right care.

Everything we do comes back to these three things. When all three are in place, people settle, recover and move on.

Right accommodation

Safe, well-maintained homes in residential areas, close to shops, transport and local services, and matched to each person’s needs.

Right support

A named support worker who helps with the things that make a tenancy work: bills, benefits, appointments, cooking, budgeting and confidence.

Right care

We work alongside mental health teams, GPs, social workers and community groups so people get the specialist help they need.

Our mission

To provide high-quality supported housing and holistic support services that promote well-being, independence and social inclusion for vulnerable individuals across the community.

How a referral works

Anyone can refer: a professional, a family member, a friend, or the person themselves.

1

Get in touch

Call us, email, or send the online referral form. We reply within one working day.

2

We talk it through

We arrange a conversation to understand the person’s situation, support needs and any risks, and to answer their questions.

3

View and move in

When a suitable room is available we arrange a viewing, then agree a move-in date and a support plan together.

4

Support to move on

Support continues throughout the stay, working towards a settled home of their own when they are ready.

Work with us

Good supported housing depends on good partners.

Landlords

Lease your property to a not-for-profit that looks after it and the people living in it, with a long-term arrangement and one point of contact.

Local authorities and partners

We work with councils, NHS mental health services, charities and resettlement teams to provide accommodation with the right support around it.

Talk to us

Not sure whether we can help? Call or email and we will talk it through. If we are not the right service, we will try to point you to someone who is.
