About Marsi Housing
We are a community-focused, not-for-profit organisation helping people who need a stable home and the right support around it.
Who we are
Marsi Housing CIC is a Community Interest Company based at the Enterprise Centre in Basford, Nottingham. We provide supported accommodation for people experiencing mental health challenges, and for refugees and people seeking asylum who need somewhere stable and safe to live.
We believe everyone deserves a safe place to call home and the support needed to thrive. Our homes are managed by people who know their tenants by name, and our support is shaped around what each person wants to achieve.
Our mission
To provide high-quality supported housing and holistic support services that promote well-being, independence and social inclusion for vulnerable individuals across the community.
What we are working towards
- Safe homes
- Supportive communities
- Brighter futures
Our values
These shape how we run our homes and how we treat the people who live in them.
Respect
We treat every person with dignity and listen to what they want for their own life.
Safety
Secure, well-maintained homes and a safeguarding culture across our whole team.
Independence
Support that builds skills and confidence, so people can move on when they are ready.
Inclusion
We help people feel part of their community, whatever their background or story.
How we work
- A named support worker for every tenant, with regular one-to-one sessions.
- A personal support plan built with each person around their own goals, and reviewed with them.
- Joined-up working with care coordinators, GPs, social workers and community organisations.
- Homes that are looked after, with safety checks kept up to date and regular visits from our team.
- Planning to move on from the start, so supported housing is a step towards a home of your own.
Why a Community Interest Company?
A Community Interest Company (CIC) is a limited company that exists to benefit the community rather than private shareholders. Its assets are protected for that purpose.
Marsi Housing is not-for-profit: any surplus is reinvested in our homes and services. Each year we file our accounts and a community interest report with Companies House, so our work is open to scrutiny.
